RAS Granite and Marble has created a process to ensure a pleasant and professional experience for the client during the steps required to complete your natural stone project.

STEP ONE:  FREE CONSULTATION
Meet with Sales Consultant at your home or at our showroom.  This consultation is free and our sales consultant will inform you of the options available to you.  During this process and with your input, we will help you to conceive the finished Natural Stone project that you wished for.  If you are meeting at the showroom, bring your cabinet plans or a drawing of the project concept with dimensions.

STEP TWO: CHOOSING YOUR STONE AND DESIGN
We will advise you on what natural stone, edgework and other attributes of your project that will look good.  We stock many of the natural stone slabs, which you may view at our location and we have availability of hundreds of others.  If you decide on a non-stocking stone, we will accompany you to our wholesale vendors to select the exact slab to be used on your project.  Using custom software, we will plan, price and determine the necessary material for your project to be built to your specifications. We will provide you with the estimates for different options free of charge.

STEP THREE: PRE-CONSTRUCTION AND OTHER PREPARATION
After the project has been determined, we will help you through the pre-construction process relating to the Natural Stone Project, so that the surfaces to be covered with stone can be prepared. We can anticipate any areas needing special attention and advise you on solutions. We can recommend qualified subcontractors to assist you for any necessary carpentry work, and in helping you tear out old countertops and/or cabinets.

STEP FOUR: TEMPLATING
Once you have chosen your material, and determined how you want your project to look like, will send our Templater to your site to measure and collect the data to cut, fabricate and install the stone.  It is imperative that your sinks, cooktop and other appliances that will be used be on site for correct measurements, and to avoid wrongly cutting your chosen material.  Any steps that should be taken to ensure an excellent installation will be reviewed with you or your contractor at that time.  An installation schedule will be established after the measurements are taken.

STEP FIVE: INSTALLATION
Installation is usually scheduled 5 to 10 working days out depending on how busy our shop is. Once the stone is ready, our installers should be able to install an average sized project in 4 to 5 hours on site.  We suggest the room where the installation takes place be sealed from the rest of the home if possible, and all other furniture and appliances be covered to protect from dust and other debris. We will make sure that any details that must be addressed before and after installation will be clearly communicated. We strongly recommend that you leave granite and marble installation to the professionals.

We have found that using this system avoids many of the pitfalls other granite companies stumble into.
